Welcome to the Homepage of the German Association of Dietitians (VDD)
The VDD was founded in 1957 in Mainz and is the only professional association for dietitians in Germany. It has approximately 4,000 members.
The VDD was a founding member of the European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians (EFAD) in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1978 and has been an active member of the International Confederation of Dietetic Associations (ICDA) since 1957.

The VDD represents its members in politics, society and industry and provides a wide range of services for its members, such as accredited specialists and lifelong learning programs aimed at dietitians. The VDD also provides its members with legal services.
